Hello,

I just wanted to say that this line "thinking of bed as sanctuary with or without sleep" is exactly what I have been doing for some time now, and it is does help to think like that. That way, if you are lying in bed for a longer time you don't start to panic, but rather enjoy the relaxation and refuge from the noise and haste of the day.

Like anyone with sleeping issues , I have in the past gone through the same process of negative thinking and fearing the bed, but little by little I have developed a more positive attitude. Naturally, it isn't a 100% effective method, and worries and fear do creep in from time to time, but looking at the pig picture it is definitely the way to go.
